ABOUT
Ground Effects is a home-grown business that started in March of 2003 by Patrick and Jamie Gardner.
Patrick and Jamie are both from the Shenandoah Valley and have built their company from the ground up with jobs ranging from all over Virginia, to Kentucky.
Back in 2003 when Ground Effects was just starting, Pat talks about very humble beginnings; "Until I could afford to rent equipment, I would hand dig projects and put dirt on my truck, then unload the truck with my shovel, then fill in the excavated area by hand.”
Since then, Ground Effects has seen exponential growth in sales, projects and added another owner - Brett Minnick. Today, not only does Ground Effects have their own equipment, but employs multiple, well-trained crews, delivering the best quality in the Valley as well as lasting career opportunities within the industry.
Due to Ground Effects outstanding quality and business development, they have been able to continually give back to the community through various local, community fundraisers as well as national charity giving.
In the coming months Ground Effects will be concluding projects from Winchester, VA to Richmond, VA and as far south as Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.
Ground Effects is proud of the work they do and making sure that every customer receives the best care and highest quality throughout each project. They are extremely proud to have served multiple schools and areas such as University of Virginia, Blue Ridge Community College, Virginia Tech, Washington & Lee, James Madison University, Virginia Military Institute, and Stuart Hall, to name a few.
